1 tbspn sugar
1 tbspn salt
Boil brine and pour over clean and cut vegetables with flavourings of your choice.

chili flakes | honey
jalapeno | red chilis
Worcestershire | horseradish
pickling spice | mustard seed
orange peel | lemon peel | lime peel
Worcestershire | celery seed
cinnamon sticks | cloves
